MOZAMBIQUE MAKING PLANS FOR GAS REFINERY CONSTRUCTION
Mozambique set to construct a gas refinery after reaching agreement.
The construction of the gas refinery is already in motion in mozambique. It is also currently undergoing a public tender stage for interested firm looking to undertake the project.
The National Hydrocarbon Company (ENH) is in charge of constructing the refinery. It has also sign an agreement with chinese firm to help monitor the development of the project. The agreement was sign with Chinese National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC).
ENH chairperson, Omar Mitha said ”The tender stage for the project has been open to the public seen April. ”
Under the agreement, both mozambique-china petroleum and gas will combine committees to handle the project. It is aim to bring both nations together.
CNPC Deputy Chairperson, Hou Qijua said ”Mozambique is a country with great development potential. He also said that they have the foundations for growth in petroleum industry.”
ENH and CNPC are also already in partnership for the Rovuma Basin Area Four project.
